Since 1998, Funeral Industry Insurance Brokers (fiib) has been the preferred insurance broker of the Queensland Funeral Directors’ Association (QFDA) and The Funeral Directors’ Association of NSW (FDA NSW).
In that time we have developed an understanding of the funeral industry and - more specifically – the insurance needs of the funeral industry.
fiib is a specialist division of Insurance Broking Qld Pty Ltd and was formed in recognition of our growing involvement in the Funeral Industry. In conjunction with Funeral Directors’ Associations throughout Australia, fiib aims to be the pre-eminent supplier of insurance services to the funeral industry in Australia.
In July 2006, fiib launched a suite of new products designed to meet the unique and specific needs of Funeral Directors. In addition to providing broad levels of cover, our products are consistently delivering significant cost savings to members.
The result: Great peace of mind at a very reasonable cost.

It is only through the longstanding loyal support of the Funeral Directors’ Associations and their members that we have been able to negotiate products that would simply not be available on an individual basis.
By working together, funeral directors are now able to command levels of protection and competitive premiums that they could not hope to achieve on their own.
